Aspire Support Services

Area of work we specialise in and what we do

Aspire Support Services is a specialist agency providing high-quality, semi-independent after care support packages with accommodation. The support offered includes mentoring, life coaching and training in independent living skills for young care leavers.

The basis of our Aftercare Support is a formal system of needs assessment and care planning, involving a range of levels of key-worker contact. We aim to work in partnership with the local authority and service users to assess the ongoing needs of the individual young person within the community and devise individual care plans/agreements that meet their identified needs over an agreed period of time.

Aspire works in partnership with several small businesses in London who are often willing to take on young people and provide them with some form of employment, apprenticeships, training or work experience. Such businesses range from Economy Windscreens London (Glaziers), Electricians, FWD Motion Recording Studios to Awake Past Midnight, experienced Fashion Stylists.

We also have experienced Mentors and Volunteers who are dedicated to providing motivation, confidence building and life planning skills to the young people.

Our life coaches work within the MET Police, Education Welfare, IT and Social Care providing coaching services and take time out to work with the young people referred.

Staff

Our staff consists of qualified social workers, life coaches and support staff trained to a minimum of NVQ level 2 in youth work/care. They come from a variety of backgrounds which include working for local authorities, the metropolitan police, parenting assessment units, banks and independent fostering agencies

Levels of support offered

We offer 4 standard levels of support which are as follows:

Low - 5 hours, Low/Med - 10 hours, Med/High - 15 hours, High - 20 hours.

However support packages can be tailor made to meet the individual needs of each young person if their requirements do not fall within the above levels of support offered.
