Grange Park Parenting Assessment Unit Ltd

Grange Park

Parenting Assessment Unit

Our accommodations are individual flats based in the Croydon area. They are fully furnished to a high standard and are particularly for families moving on from parenting assessments who have progressed well and have shown some ability to live semi-independently. Hence the service users experience a significantly increased level of independence as they are responsible for their own property and all that goes with living semi-independently.

Community Support

The basis of our Aftercare Support is a formal system of needs assessment and care planning, involving a range of levels of key-worker contact. We aim to work in partnership with the local authority and service users to assess the ongoing needs of the family within the community and devise individual care plans/agreements that meet their identified needs over an agreed period of time.( in some cases up to eighteen months) We provide a positive and supportive living environment to encourage the continued development of independent living and social skills in order to make a smooth and successful transition to becoming competent parents.

. All our staff will be familiar with the individual family’s Care Plan

and with the targets that have been set.

Our Aftercare Support Packages are also based on the principal that support packages are designed and progressed in a manner that is empowering to parents and that increases their self-esteem and confidence.  Clear interim targets and goals will be set and assessed on  a regular basis
